The Gardener
My name is Sue. I am an avid vegetable gardener and a beekeeper. I grew up eating vegetables and fruit from my grandma's garden, helped my parents with their garden, and now I've had my own garden for over 30 years. I love having my bare hands in the soil and experimenting to see what I can grow. It's usually more than I can eat so I share with friends and family, can and process some, and freeze the rest. There's nothing like having raspberries from your garden in the middle of winter.
Let's work together to help you experience the health benefits and gratification of having your own garden. Digging your hands in the soil improves your mood, reduces stress and anxiety, and boosts your immune system. Fresh garden vegetables taste better, have higher nutritional value, and no pesticides or herbicides.

The Kids
My kids grew up digging in the garden. They loved pulling fresh carrots or the treasure hunt for potatoes. They were excited to get their hands dirty and show their friends and family what they could pull out of the ground. As grown ups they still raid the raspberry bush and ask me to use the garden tomatoes to make them canned tomato and basil.
Kids are amazed when they see their food growing in the garden.
